A prison doesn't start at the gate
It starts as you enter this life with fate,

Society helps shape the metal bars
Into a cage that blinds you from creation of the stars

Human deception darkens the room,
Until it leaves you wither thus unable to bloom,

The paint of Lie is dabbed in our wall,
While most add colors with ignorance to any call

Scars only grow with self desire
Willing to be inhumane for that which they only think, is prior

Something as infectious as cancer,
Is being injected with a placebo of 'getting stronger'

If they but knew, where the strength lay,
If they but knew the cure it is to pray

The practical prison in society today is rather being free,
From lies and everything negative to be

It is not my opinion it is a fact
Without truth the world will never be intact.
